Fire Department
The Township of Lake of the Woods has a fire station located in Bergland. The station with response from Dawson South Fire Station serve Lake of the Woods Township. The fire department is looking for more volunteers.

Fire Permits on line no fee however $10.00 if issued manually
Level of Service
The Lake of the Woods Fire Department is only able to offer exterior fire fighting services at this time. The Department does not do interior rescues or water rescues.

ONLINE FIRE PERMITS
Fire permits are now available online. No fee is charged however for manual permits issued by a permit issuer a fee of $10.00 is charged.

Emergency Management Plan
The municipality has recently updated its emergency plan. Public may view the
plan in the municipal office during normal office hours. Emergency management
pamphlets are also available.
